2011 Xterra Dry Creek Trail Run

6K trail race

This course begins in Garin Park's meadow and will feature the park's lower ridge climbs. You will encounter creek crossings and winding single-track through the park's shaded valley. All levels of runners, joggers, and walkers are welcome! Come enjoy some beautiful trails!

21K trail race

This challenging course features the lower and higher ridges in the park. Long and steep climbs on shaded single-track and exposed fire-road lead to fantastic views of the Bay Area on a clear day. There is roughly 2000’ of climbing on this course. Get out and run those hills!

Hydration stations with GU Energy Gel, Gatorade and water will be provided along both courses.

Medical Staff provided by Rock Med will be stationed at the start/finish and around the course.

Facilities:

Restrooms and portable toilets will be available at starting area. A portable toilet is available 100 yards off the course during the 21k race.

Schedule of Events:

6:30 AM - Registration/Check-in begins

7:45 AM - Registration Closes

8:00 AM - 21K race start

8:00 AM - 6K race start

9:30 AM - Food (Burger or hot dog)

10:30 AM - Awards Ceremony

Raffle:

XTERRA Footwear, local sponsor certificates and more will be raffled off. Registered runners are automatically entered.

Fees include Zorrel Dri-Balance race shirt, food for the runner, and fun!
